Welcome to the technology history page

Re-purpose, optimize and invent!
With good care, the equipment will keep performing many more years.

It all started in 1960 with one of the first Phillips cassette recorders.
The NUI Nachrichten, Unterhaltungs und Industrie Elektronik User Club
was the first High School student group I co-founded in 1968.
Most of us in Western Germany, a former part of France, had ties to other neighboring German Belgian and Dutch schools.
Many of us grew up watching and learning from installer, start-up and service staff.

1990:

  • Motorola MS3600 and Intel 80xx chips were powering PC and PLC products.
  • RS 422 replaced the 232 Rf boosted data communication.
  • Coax Arc- and Ethernet connected computer.
  • Siemens S5 PLC EKL, ET L1,2, H1 bus system
  • Force RS422 controller IPC

2000:

  • Ethernet switch network for HMI and drive supervision
  • Phoenix Interbus
  • Multiprog PLC SW
  • Siemens S7 PLC

. 2010:

  • Mitsubish GX PLC
  • B&R Automation Studio 3 PLC
  • Panasonic PLC
  • Omron PLC
  • Koyo PLC
  • Robohelp, Dreamweaver HTML HMI, WIKI design
  • Remote Internet online access

“We enjoyed the time spent and doing business with the friendly BBS. Inc. / MEUC people.
The pricing was fair; the attitude was supportive, honest and straightforward. John B. VA
We are confident we will have the same repair results using their extensive library.” Don S. WA

Well running equipment makes money for all of us!
We complement each other with our skills and talents. As global citizen of the free enterprise world we put people first in hope they will pick themselves up with a little help from fellow techies (like us).

As Mozilla, Wikipedia and many other volunteer organizations, we believe in you to contribute old parts / boards, money, technical documentation in printed or scanned format.
